OUR HISTORY

In 2015, Point University was gifted the Riverside Golf Club, a golf, tennis, dining and events center located in Lanett, Alabama. Point University is grateful to the Riverside Golf Club board of directors for its incredible generosity, and we pledge to be faithful stewards of this beautiful gift.

The property — now called Point University Golf Club — enables us to have another touchpoint in the Greater Valley as we strive to serve our community with excellence.

The course at Point University Golf Club is a pleasure to play for golfers of any skill level – challenging you while providing a relaxing, picturesque backdrop.

Test your accuracy as you navigate our Bermuda fairways, rough water hazards, sand traps and Tift Dwarf Bermuda greens. Point University Golf Club has everything needed to challenge you and improve your game. Our goal is to provide you with a quality round of golf that includes exceptional service in an enjoyable atmosphere.

IMPROVEMENTS

Point University was recently selected by the United States Golf Association and the American Society of Golf Course Architects Foundation for a consulting visit from the USGA agronomists and ASGCA member architects. Agronomists and architects will make recommendations to address the facilities’ needs, improve the playing quality of the course, and enhance the golf experience for our customers. As home to the Point Skyhawks golf team, the course provides a top-notch practice facility and a challenging course for competitive match play, but, the Point University Golf Club is also used to accommodate the public’s need for recreational golf and dining facilities.

A recent renovation of the club’s event center provides a wonderful facility for business meetings and training sessions, social clubs, church group outings and wedding receptions.  Click Here for event pricing.
